My health wasn’t good.
For the last two years, I’ve put in the extra hours. ???????? I worked overtime to build courses, email sequences, videos, blog entries, social content, funnels, and everything else that has gotten my branding and business company where it is today.
Many other things have grown as well for me, including my library of read books, relationships with friends, educational courses I’ve taken, and faith in my ability to serve more people.
My relationship with God has even grown over the past two years.
Over those months, some things suffered from those choices.
At times, I would let my relationship with my husband slide or the connection with my kids.
But in all that time there’s one thing I never made a priority for an extended period of time… and that’s my HEALTH.
I had been so caught up in how to grow other parts of my life, that I wasn’t putting in the time on how to preserve my body.
And shame on me. ????
Yes, I did the couch to 5K for 30 days last summer and have consumed more protein shakes the past 12 months than ever in my life. I also purchased a Bowflex to burn some calories in the morning before sitting down at my desk, but I never made any of it a priority.
But you know what I’ve learned?
At any time, we are permitted to put a stake in the ground on our core beliefs and passions and do something about them.
Today I’m moving forward in life with a clearer vision on my business, family, finances, home, and health.
So if you see less Margarita and Wine pics and more shakes, smoothies and random green drinks, you know I’m on track.
If you see me doting on essential oils and clean living over toxic candles and cleaning supplies, you know I’m on track.
If you see me pampering my skin with dry brushing, lavender soaps, and farm-fresh beeswax, you know I’m on track.
End the end, I have big goals for my branding and business company, but starting today, I have big goals for my health and wellness as well!
