For the last year, I’ve been focused on teaching women how to leverage their influence to monetize their brand.
What it comes down to is I believe your brand influence is made up of your layers and layers of pivots, life cycles, lessons, and experiences. When you communicate this you create influence.
Meaning the more consistently you voice your message – the more influence you create.
And the more people you can empower with your influence.
Inside this episode, I share with you TWO ways that I teach business builders to leverage their influence no matter what kind of business they are building or have yet to start creating.
The first way to leverage your influence is to adopt a brand story and personality into what you are already doing to make your brand more profitable. Whether you are an Employee, a CEO, in direct sales, are a business builder, or blogger … there’s a way for you to communicate your unique story and individual experience that led you to your product.
This is fantastic news because even if you are selling the exact same product that thousands of other people have on their shelves… you have the opportunity to differentiate yourself by using your power of storytelling.
There is only one you – and thus only one story like yours. We’ve each grown up in various ways. We have lived different lives in separate locations. We’ve experienced things and learned lessons that no one else has done exactly as we have. This influence has led you to where you are right now. And even though thousands are selling the same product – the stories that you got you here are all so varied.
If you want to grow a business you currently have there’s only one way to do it that will create deeper connections with possible consumers and that’s to lead with your story. By sharing your heart and the transparent stories of life’s lessons that guided you here today.
People want to do business with people and by sharing a brand story readers can latch on to your story and it instantly becomes memorable.
This is where your power lies to grow your business. It’s how you instantly set yourself apart from everyone else in your industry and in your timeline.
When you can lean into your brand to discover these hidden stories you can turn your brand influence into content that creates deeper connections with your audience.
The second way to leverage your influence is my favorite and that’s to monetize your brand.
Here’s the thing…. I believe your life journey to this point is not an accident. I believe you’ve gone through all the traffic, dead ends, one-way roads, four-lane superhighways, and sharp curves so you could serve others with what you’ve learned along the way.
When you can pinpoint the superpower you have that brings you joy, lights you up inside, you love doing every day, and talking about it is easy for you… you’ve discovered how to monetize your brand with your influence.
For me, that’s this subject right here… Infusing faith and confidence into women so they can discover and leverage their influence to monetize their brand.
I’ve even said that …
“When your daily decisions are rooted in the core beliefs of your brand, you will always be confident in your actions. You will not waiver in the face of conformity or comparison.” – Kristin Korn
And I think that is SO IMPORTANT in this digital age… to stay in your lane and use your own superpower to serve others.
So much so that I created the Stay in Your Lane Brand Method – a roadmap with four steps to help you leverage your influence.
When you feel stuck and know you’ve outgrown your current situation look back on your experiences and what you’ve learned over your life.
…. Then use that skill or knowledge to empower others.
And if fitting, monetize it with a digital product offer or community. You have unique knowledge and a set of experiences that people want to learn from (and pay for).
So if you find yourself in a situation that feels like it no longer aligns with your purpose, or you feel limited to growth, or feel tired of competing with too many people…
there’s one place I suggest to look and that’s inward. What…
My Stay in Your Lane Brand Method is built to give women a roadmap. So those who want a strategic online marketing plan can go from feeling stuck and stagnant to having a confident, brand-focused business.
The Social Note is an online membership community for the business owner who wants to discover her voice, share her story, and develop her brand in a humble, confident, and impactful way.
Along with my co-founder Jenny Taylor we are bringing Storytelling + Creative + Community together as no one has ever done before.
For over 20 combined years we’ve shown up in the online space as our authentic selves to build our respective businesses. We realize that building a business in this digital age can seem complicated. But we believe that when you put your story out into the world you attract the right people to your brand. The one thing that you have that nobody else has is your story.
When you dig into your brand you’ll find your voice is ready to be heard. Your story is ready to be told. You just need to give yourself permission to share it.
Search by the current stage of your brand + business in order to find more relative content to help you along with your journey.
I help women who want a strategic online marketing plan go from feeling stuck and stagnant to having a confident, brand-focused business.
I believe the key to establishing a lasting business is to use your personal experiences to connect with others.
Within my Stay in Your Lane Brand Method, I offer women a course roadmap to discover, monetize, promote, and expand their influence.
