So many times clients who are in direct sales will come to me tripped up being able to tie together who they are as a mom, business builder, and a direct sales rep.
They understand that personal branding is important to their success but they struggle with how to promote a personal brand – themselves! – and not a company.
Whether you in the beginning stages of promoting your personal brand instead of the company you rep for or you’re in the midst of a new business start-up or you have been dragging your feet on a re-brand – today I want to share where you can look to find inspiration for your brand colors.
So today, instead of talking to you myself about how branding is used in college athletics I have a special guest with me – my husband and college men’s basketball head coach for SEMO – Southeast Missouri State University – Brad Korn.
It’s no secret that I love social media for creating deeper connections with my clients – but do you know that there’s a simple strategy I use to do this?
If you are feeling overwhelmed when it comes to what to post to social media to grow your business… I want to break it down for you in this episode. Get ready… I’m sharing THREE WAYS to grow your client leads using social media and from here on out your “overwhelm” with content will be gone!
You have a website but now, what? How are you greeting people when they land on your site?
Where are you directing them to go? Want action do you want them to take? What do you have them looking at and why?
If they are your ideal client you should know exactly why they landed on your site and this introduction should be just as warm and friendly as if you were walking into a specialty store greeted by a clerk.
For the last year, I’ve been focused on teaching women how to leverage their influence to monetize their brand.
What it comes down to is I believe your brand influence is made up of your layers and layers of pivots, life cycles, lessons, and experiences. When you communicate this you create influence.
Meaning the more consistently you voice your message – the more influence you create.
And the more people you can empower with your influence.
Today on this episode I want to share with you TWO ways that I teach business builders to leverage their influence no matter what kind of business they are building or have yet to start creating.
You’ve heard you need to niche down your business in order to grow your profits but how do you exactly do that?
Inside this episode, we will talk about what digital product you should sell. And by doing so we are going to dig into the skills and passions you have that you’ve been unintentionally hiding.
We’ve all been pressured to purchase a product… whether it be a pair of jeans or a new car. And by going through that sleazy buying process we can assume all sales careers mean you need to act that way to make a sale… But that couldn’t be further from the truth.
So today I want to share with you three sleazy sales tactics to avoid and what to do instead. And these tactics pop up whether you are in direct sales, a brick a mortar store, or an online-based business. You’ve seen them all and possibly even done them yourself. By understanding what to do instead you’ll know how to create a win-win for you and your prospective buyer.
When I reflect on my own journey of how I’ve used and reacted to social media I always come back to the idea that many see success on social media as having high engagement ratings.
* We seek validation that what we are doing is making an impact.
* That the time we are spending on writing captions and blog posts and podcasts is worth it.
* That someone out there is paying attention to our message.
Press play on this episode where I share with you what I’m doing instead of seeking validation through likes, comments, and follower count. It may just change the way you look and feel about content for good.

Most weekdays, you'll find me in (intentional) creative-mode working from my home office… but evenings are reserved for playing with my kiddos and sipping margaritas with friends. As a coach's wife, most weekends are spent cheering on my husband's basketball team, or attending our kids' sporting events here in Cape Girardeau, Missouri... or traveling to warmer weather!
