7 Instagram Content Ideas

Whether you share these ideas on your feed in a static, carousel, or video format, or on reels, or in stories – Here are seven ideas for Instagram content that will help boost engagement.

1. Client Win, Testimonial

Share a testimonial, product review, a screenshot message from a client, or any other social proof to increase authority. When you receive a text from a client, don’t overthink this – post it to stories. When you run data or hear a win from a client – share it on video.

2. Behind The Scenes

You can feature your work, unboxing products, your team, a product or service, client, or helpful routine. This is an easy one – when you are working – share whatever you are doing. People love to feel like they are a part of your business.

3. Tips, Guides, or Demo

This is where you break down how to do something your ideal client will find helpful.

4. Top Myths

6. Engaging Storytelling

With their pain point in mind and your experience, share a relatable story of your own or a client that reveals a transformation. ie. Overcame Obstacle, Mindset Work, etc.

7. Resources

Share any tools, hacks, apps, or online programs to help them overcome their pain point. Check your expense sheet for ideas on the programs you use.

Tips for creating Instagram content

  • One Tip for creating Instagram Content is to keep in mind the journey a client takes with your brand from know, to like, to trust. When you can rotate through these content ideas, you’ll be sure to reach your audience at the right time with the right content.
  • Second tip – When you can first and foremost understand the pain points and limiting beliefs of your ideal client, you will have no problem at all coming up with this content.

When I start working with a CORE Brand Marketing client, the first thing we do is called “Determine Your Core Foundation.” It’s the first step of my Brand Building Roadmap for a reason because it lays the foundation for your entire brand moving forward.

I do nothing else with a client until we finish this step.

Inside your Core Foundation lays the basic framework to determine your CORES: core interest, core beliefs, and core niche.

  • Core Interest is the problem you are solving with your skills and passions.
  • Core Beliefs are why you believe in your solution based on your experiences.
  • Core Niche is the market segment that needs your solution.

When you define WHO needs your solution and whom you want to help in your industry – this ideal client avatar is who you will spend every day learning more and more about.

When you keep them at the front of your mind – and focus on pain points they need help solving – you have all the Instagram, Blog, Pinterest, Facebook, and LinkedIn content you need.

I’m super passionate about helping small business owners return to this CORE work. Because without it, you truly are taking a shot in the dark with what content will stick.

I have incorporated my CORE training into the Insta-Unlock Workshop. So if you are truly a beginner at using Instagram for Business, this program is what you need. You can get instant access to this 2-hour workshop at kristinkorn.com/instagram.

Here’s what a recent workshop student had to say:

“I can’t tell you how many classes I’ve taken on Instagram and Facebook marketing, and they are so generic. They tell you to post every day, but they don’t tell you where to gather the info from. The methods Kristin teaches are so genius, and she explains it so beautifully, and it takes all the scariness away.” – Jamie Clark.

We will set your marketing plan up for success inside this workshop using a digestible format to unlock your brand profile, content ideas, and Instagram marketing strategy. All at a beginner level that makes sense for your brand.

So if you don’t want to feel spammy or spend all day on the app creating content that may or may not get engagement, I invite you to join the on-demand workshop online at kristinkorn.com/instagram.
