What Is The Best Scheduling Platform For Social Media?

READER QUESTION:

“What is the best social media scheduling platform/app? Looking to work smarter, not harder. 😅”

MY ANSWER:

First off kudos to you for wanting to use a social media strategy to plan ahead and ultimately save you gobs of time. I’m not sure we really realize the time wasted scrolling our Instagram app wondering what to post, then edit, then finally getting something posted – just to do it all over again tomorrow.

But we must realize and face the fact that if we want free organic traffic to our website and to grow a community of buyers who love us for who we are – social media is that medium.

But the downfall of “free” is – we have to post regularly, engage with our followers, come up with captivating captions, generate leads, and so on. So social media can be time-consuming, overwhelming, and a constant source of stress for us.

So yes… if you want to stay on top of your game and showcase your brand to the world, you need a reliable and efficient scheduling platform.

I’ve tried almost all software out there and I always come back to Later!

5 Reasons Why Later is the Best Social Media Scheduling Platform

Here’s why Later is the best social media scheduling platform for creative entrepreneurs in my opinion and why I use it for my business and for my marketing boutique clients.

1 – User-Friendly Interface:

As creative peeps, we need tools that inspire us and enable us to unleash our artistic vision. We don’t like to be bogged down by things we don’t need. It must be easy to navigate so we can schedule, plan, and organize social media quickly. Later features a drag-and-drop content calendar that allows you to visualize your posts easily (a must!). The platform also offers a preview option that shows you how your posts will look like on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. Also a big fan.

2 – Smart Automation Features:

If you know me – you know evergreen content and automation are two of my favorite things. So the fact Later is not just a scheduling platform; it’s a beast of automation keeps it high on my list. The platform comes with a plethora of powerful features, such as Auto Publish, Saved Captions, and Hashtag Suggestions. With Auto Publish, you can create your posts and set the exact time and date you want them to be published, and Later will take care of the rest.

Saved Captions allows you to save your frequently used captions, avoiding the tedious copy-pasting process. This works great for commonly used CTAs you add to the end of your captions. Hashtag Suggestions, on the other hand, helps you identify the most relevant and trending hashtags based on your niche, industry, and audience – it’s not the best at this but it gives you a start in the right direction. But once you find your hashtags saving them in groups is where it’s at for me.

3 – Integration with Other Platforms:

As creative entrepreneurs, we need tools that complement our workflows and enhance their productivity. Later fully understands that. That’s why the platform integrates with other essential tools and platforms, such as Canva, Unsplash, Shopify, and Slack.

With the Canva integration, for example, you can create and edit your visual content directly from Later, without worrying about downloading and uploading files. Or you can create in Canva and send directly to your Later media folder. So so so smart!

Unsplash integration allows you to access a vast library of free, high-quality images to use in your posts. Shopify integration enables you to tag your products directly on Instagram and create shoppable posts. This means no time wasted to get the graphic you want scheduled and off your plate!

4 – Analytics and Insights:

One of the crucial aspects of social media marketing is data analysis and measurement. Yes, you need to do this if you aren’t now! You need to know how your posts are performing, what engages your audience, and what needs improvement. Later offers comprehensive analytics and insights that help you track and understand your social media performance. It’s actually the best I’ve seen.

You can get key metrics like engagement rate, follower growth, top-performing posts, best times to post, and much more. You can also compare your metrics with your competitors and identify areas where you can refine your strategy.

5 – Two Publishing Options:

To keep extra photos off my phone camera library I love the auto-publish feature since all the media is kept on Later and then automatically sent to my social media channel. But there is a time and place for the push notification option I use for Reels that I want to add trending audio to before posting. I schedule my Reel in Later with the video and caption and then when it’s time to post Later will alert me on my phone and it’s easy to open the IG app, add trending audio, and post with a cover of my choice.

While the feature list goes on and on (AI caption writing, Linkin.bio, ideas generator, managing spam, multiple platforms, story and reel posting) the five above are my favorite features of Later.

I invite you to try out the platform – they also have AMAZING training resources to help you along the way. Here’s my affiliate link for a 14-Day Free Trial if interested: https://try.later.com/kristinkorn
